Head Explosion: Jane Eyre Laid Bare

There's not supposed to be an erotic version of Jane Eyre. That clutching in the garden and elsewhere is enough. The POINT of it all is that she does not succumb to what would be so easy for her to succumb to. Ugh. I'm grossed out. Write Fifty Shades of Pink Parts, just don't sexx up Miss Jane Eyre.

For some reason, I'm more affronted by this than the sexxed up Pride and Prejudice I found while browsing the Borders closing last year.
