No Day 5 NaBloPoMo Prompt?

My car read 120 when I first went out to it this afternoon. (Fires of hell.)

Then the light at Northwest Highway and Boedecker was out. WHAT? Get some po-po out to direct traffic! Putting up little four-way-stop signs at that intersection is just inviting death to come by and stay a while.

I blame this all on a fruitless fabric-shopping episode this morning. Well, that and the 4000000 days of 90-degree temperatures. I'm really not cut out for this.
